Everyday needs should be met by shops that people can walk and cycle to rather than driving into the city or to out of town retail parks. Of course the city will remain the focus for entertainment where a larger catchment is required.John Heaserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00173736155065440503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510401356434571028.post-54602839458540201622013-02-06T13:00:31.212+00:002013-02-06T13:00:31.212+00:00My peas survived out in the snow whilst the broad ...My peas survived out in the snow whilst the broad beans sheltered in pots in the greenhouse. Media and advertising lead even the poorest to believe that riches are only a lottery ticket away. Job losses following the industrial revolution in the 19th century gave rise to the co operative movement, which persisted up until the TV age and easy credit. Maybe it will take real food shortages to bring about change again.John Heaserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00173736155065440503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510401356434571028.post-59485990601538517662013-01-14T18:47:05.647+00:002013-01-14T18:47:05.647+00:00Edge Fund edgefund.org.uk is very relavant to this...Edge Fund edgefund.org.uk is very relavant to this postAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510401356434571028.post-6299658218229244592012-12-03T18:12:02.811+00:002012-12-03T18:12:02.811+00:00Can't say that I've noticed an increase in...Can't say that I've noticed an increase in cycle numbers out here in the sticks, Chris.
